This week we'll be working on the second part of the Williamsburg door topper. Last week I covered the pineapple so this week I'll be talking about the mock trapunto for the fruit and how to attach the artifical leaves. Please bring the following to class: the apple shape cut out of Timtex, a 5" square of apple colored fabric, 5" square of batting, scissors, needle and thread. And don't forget to bring sharing!
Just for kicks and to celebrate I'm posting a picture of a Valentine's vest I made for myself about 5 years ago. Aren't the wonky hearts fun? And what am I celebrating you ask? I was invited to put another ensemble in the Bernina Fashion Show for 2008! Yipee! This time I'm going to go to the premier for sure :-)
