Square Dance

Looking at what I've posted in the past I realized that I forgot to post the finished Square Dance so here it is.

I chose to bind it in the same fabric that I used for the bottom row.


Here is a close up showing the quilting. I used a metallic turquoise thread and stitched the width of my presser foot around the outside of the turquoise pinwheels.

Now that fall has finally arrived her in southern California I can start wearing it!

Nice colors in your jacket! I really enjoy the twister pattern. Hadn't thought about making it a wearable design. You've done a terrific job on this.

It's a show stopper! The small Square Dance pinwheels really make the jacket sparkle.

Love the jacket, love that you took a 'flat' pattern and gave it depth.

I have made a few jackets and am always inspired by other artist visions for wearable art.
