Small Projects?

I'm looking for ideas for small quilted projects to make over the summer. When it's hot outside most of us don't feel like working on a large quilt or even a jacket, but the urge to sew is still there. I thought this would be a good chance to get some small Christmas presents made. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to post in the comments section or drop me an email. Thanks!

Hi, Lisa. I've made a few small "handbags" (like a clutch, but with a flap closing) that go very quickly, use up scraps, and make excellent gifts. Am thinking also about placemats and table runners. -- Linda

In order to get my creative juices flowing again, I went even smaller. Two pot holders, made from scraps. I was amazed at the number of positive responses I got!

I like making mug rugs. They are small and quick and give you an opportunity to be creative!
